It is the mission of the South Salt Lake Fire Department to provide professional and competent emergency medical, fire, and rescue services to our customers, the citizens of the City of South Salt Lake, Utah. In addition, it is the goal of the Fire Department to provide fire and safety education programs to our young people so that in the event fire should strike, they may save themselves from injury or death.
